` Activities	1. Revise the previous lessons briefly. 2. Introduce the topic of main idea. 3. The teacher tells the strategies of listening for main ideas. 4. Listening activity.
Reflection	The ss were able to identify the main idea of the text heard but they still need to improve on the skill because they reacted a bit slow in the listening activity.

Behavioural Objective	By the end of the lesson, students are able to 1. know the uses of each conjunctions learnt by filling the blanks given correctly.
Activities	1. The teacher discusses the use of conjunctions in class. 2. Exercise of filling blanks. 3. The teacher facilitates the ss. 4. The ss give the answers on the blackboard.
Moral Values	Be polite.
Reflection	More than 70% of the ss were able to hive correct answers. There were two wrong answers out of the ten questions because did not pay an effort to look for the answer.

Behavioural Objective	By the end of the lesson, students are able to 1. know the uses of each logical connectors learnt by filling the blanks given correctly.
Activities	1. The teacher discusses the use of logical connectors in class. 2. Do exercises in the textbook. 3. Discuss the answers. 4. Homework: Rewrite the sentence using correct logical connectors.
Moral Values	Be polite, diligence.
Reflection	The students could understand the meaning of each logical connectors but they have problems to put the logical connectors at a correct place n a sentence.

Topic Sub-topic   Objectives	Listening Skills Making inferences By the end of the lesson, students are able to 1. know the meaning of making inferences by telling its definition. 2. make inferences based on the text heard by jotting down keywords or important ideas and writing out the sentence appropriately.
` Activities	1. Revise the previous lessons briefly. 2. The selected group of students present the topic of 'Making Inferences'. 3. The teacher discusses the topic presented in class. 4. The teacher tells the strategies of listening to make inferences. 5. Listening activity.
Reflection	The group managed to present the topic accordingly. However, they could not explain it clearly. More discussions and examples were given through listening practices to enhance their understanding on the topic discussed.

Learning Outcome	2.1 c. reading materials in print such as reports and articles and using other electronic media such as the Internet.
Behavioural Objectives	By the end of the lesson, students are able to 1. enjoy reading by selecting their own favourite reading materials. 2. understand the text read by filling the information required in the NILAM form provided.
Activities	1. The teacher briefs the ss the procedure of NILAM. 2. Reading activity. 3. The ss return the form and reading materials.
Moral Values	Be polite, diligence.
Reflection	Most of the ss enjoy the reading activity. They drew the story out instead of wrote it down only for the minor group of ss i.e. around 20%.

Topic	The Health Hazards of Smoking
Learning Outcomes	1.1 d. exchanging ideas, information and opinions on topics of interest. 2.3 i. using appropriate format , conventions, and grammar when presenting the information.
Behavioural Objectives	By the end of the lesson, students are able to 1. elaborate the main point by writing a paragraph based on the short notes given.
Activities	1. Discuss the topic in general. 2. The representative from each group write their answer on the blackboard. 3. Discussion and correction.
Moral Values	Appreciation on life, respects, be considerate, responsibility.
Reflection	There were around half the students found the lesson dull. The process of writing the long answer on the blackboard was time consuming too. The writing exercise will be carried out in a more effective way in the future.

Topic Sub-topic   Objectives	Listening Skills Predicting By the end of the lesson, students are able to 1. know the meaning of predicting by explaining it in their own words. 2. predict by choosing the best answer based on the text heard.
` Activities	1. Revise the previous lessons briefly. 2. Discuss the topic of predicting in general. 3. The strategies are given to the ss. 4. Listening activity. Discuss.
Reflection	The ss at first were confused with the difference of making inferences and predicting. The listening exercises and discussion helped them to solve the questions.

Topic	The novel: The Curse – Chapter 2
Learning Outcome	3.1 b. recognizing elements in a story such as characters and setting.
Behavioural Objectives	1. role play the plot of Chapter Two accordingly. 2. explain the false statements correctly. 3. identify the different character traits of the characters by matching it correctly.
Activities	1. Revision on the previous lesson in brief. 2. Role Playing. 3. Discuss the exercise of Chapter 2. 4. Homework: a. Chapter 2 exercise. b. Chapter 3.
Moral Values	Respects, diligence, family love, friendship.
Skill/PS/CCTS	R, S, W/ CC, CX, CCTS
Reflection	Both of the classes did not role play the story fully. They were unable to produce a creative yet appropriate dialogue. That's why the class did not understand the story. Discussion has been carried out. An enrichment activity of Chapter 2 was given to enhance their understanding.

` Activities	1. The teacher gives the instruction about the test. 2. Listening Topical Test. 3. The ss shares their problems on while-listening stage. 4. Listening activity on Part III. Discuss.
Reflection	The ss had a hard time to follow the speed of the speakers in the text played. There were only one ss failed to complete the test. Correction will be done in the next lesson.

Reflection	There were only around 10% of the ss paid full attention to the lesson. Most of them were interested only with the picture shown. Once the discussion on the exercises started, they became passive and uncooperative. The class need activities which are easy and entertaining.
