Reflection

The ss were able to identify the main idea of the text heard but they still need to improve on the skill because they reacted a bit slow in the listening activity.

1. The teacher discusses the use of conjunctions in class.

3. The teacher facilitates the ss.

4. The ss give the answers on the blackboard.

Moral Values

Be polite.

Reflection 

More than 70% of the ss were able to hive correct answers. There were two wrong answers out of the ten questions because did not pay an effort to look for the answer.

Reflection 

The students could understand the meaning of each logical connectors but they have problems to put the logical connectors at a correct place n a sentence.

2. The selected group of students present the topic of 'Making

Inferences'.

3. The teacher discusses the topic presented in class.

4. The teacher tells the strategies of listening to make inferences.

Reflection

The group managed to present the topic accordingly. However, they could not explain it clearly. More discussions and examples were given through listening practices to enhance their understanding on the topic discussed.

1. The teacher briefs the ss the procedure of NILAM.

Be polite, diligence.

Reflection 

Most of the ss enjoy the reading activity. They drew the story out instead of wrote it down only for the minor group of ss i.e. around 20%.

2. The representative from each group write their answer on the

blackboard.

3. Discussion and correction.

Moral Values

Appreciation on life, respects, be considerate, responsibility.

Reflection

There were around half the students found the lesson dull. The process of writing the long answer on the blackboard was time consuming too. The writing exercise will be carried out in a more effective way in the future.

Reflection

The ss at first were confused with the difference of making inferences and predicting. The listening exercises and discussion helped them to solve the questions.

Reflection

Both of the classes did not role play the story fully. They were unable to produce a creative yet appropriate dialogue. That's why the class did not understand the story. Discussion has been carried out. An enrichment activity of Chapter 2 was given to enhance their understanding.

Reflection

The ss had a hard time to follow the speed of the speakers in the text played. There were only one ss failed to complete the test. Correction will be done in the next lesson.

Reflection

There were only around 10% of the ss paid full attention to the lesson. Most of them were interested only with the picture shown. Once the discussion on the exercises started, they became passive and uncooperative. The class need activities which are easy and entertaining.
