4. Pair/Group Work: Look for specific information based on the article chosen. Transform it onto a paper given.

Reflections5K1 & 5S4: The ss were able to find all of the information.

However, they needed more time than as given.

5K7: Most of the ss did not bring their textbook. So, reading aloud

the sample dialogues could not be done. They are required to

copy the notes and exercise given. Group work will be

continued in the next lesson.

Reflection Most of the ss were having a problem to draw the picture of the word given. Some of them were unable to imagine the picture of the word and some were not good in drawing.

Reflection The recitation was lack of right feeling. The ss could follow the lesson so far. Paraphrasing on sentences 3 to 5 will be continued next week.

Reflection In general, the students in both classes were blurred on how to start the conversation. Nevertheless, they were able to do it after the explanation of the teacher from group to group.

ReflectionsSome students did not know how to use the dictionary. And, most of them did not know how to find the meaning for phrases. The teacher needed to teach the students how to use the dictionary. Yet, more than 50% were still unable to use the dictionary. The activity will be continued in the next lesson.

Reflection5K1 & 5S4: The students were able to follow the lesson. There

were some students having a problem to generate their

5K7: Most of the ss were weak in English. They could not

understand well the lesson. There were only few ss managed

to complete the exercise and activity by having an

understanding for the topic discussed. All of the activities

need to be simplified.

All of the ss were very enjoyed to see the beautiful pictures in the magazines despite of their level of proficiency. They were able to complete the group work. The topic will be further explored in the next lesson.

ReflectionThere were around 30% of the ss managed to do the exercise. The rest in the class needed to be assisted fully. This was because they hardly expressed their ideas in English Language. Most of them could only produce a very simple paragraph with grammatical mistakes throughout the writing.
