Activities	1. Revision on the tenses learnt in the previous lesson. 2. The teacher explains the form of past perfect tense by relating it to one's experiences. 3. The ss copy the notes given. 4. The ss write the sentences using the verbs in past perfect tense on the blackboard. 5. Discussion and correction on the sentences. 6. The ss copy the answers.

Reflection	5K1: The were around 80% of the ss could give correct examples of simple present, simple past and present perfect tenses. However, they did not manage 100% to give correct examples for past perfect tense. Some of them are still blurred with the use of it. It will be further discussed in the next grammar lesson. 5S4: Most of the ss could understand the tenses learnt by giving correct examples. They were able to recognize the order of events correctly too for sentences with past perfect tense. They still need more practice to use past perfect tense correctly in writing and speaking.

Reflection	Nearly all of the ss could not understand what present perfect and past perfect tenses are. They could not tell the order of events correctly based on the sentences discussed. There were only around 5% of the ss could differentiate what simple present tense and simple past tense are. They needed to improve their language to enhance their understanding of the lesson.

Activities	1. The teacher revises the previous lesson with the students. 2. The ss recite the poem in class. 3. Discussion on the exercise. 4. The ss copy the answers.

Reflection	5K7: Most of the ss could not follow the recitation even reading after the teacher. They could not catch the pronunciation and the meaning. They could only follow if the teacher read it slowly and not more than three simple words for each time. So, more simple notes and exercises need to be designed for them to understand the poem. 5K1: The selected ss were able to recite the poem clearly, but it was lack of appropriate intonation and feelings. More exercise will be given to further their comprehension on the poem.

Reflection	The ss could recite the poem accordingly with few pronunciation mistakes. More than half of them were able to respond correctly to the questions discussed. They need more writing and speaking activities to express their ideas or opinions in context.

Activities	1. Revision on verb forms. 2. The selected ss write the opinion on the blackboard based on the question asked in the previous exercise.

Reflection	Most of the ss were unable to remember the form of past participle for verbs. Some of them mixed it up with adverbs and adjectives because of its spelling which ended with '-ed' or 'en'. The topic of adjective and adverb will be explored in the later lessons.

Behavioural Objectives	1. know how marks are awarded for Section A, Paper 1. 2. get the answer from the rubric. 3. form a complete sentence for each point provided in the question.
Activities	1. Discuss the overall performance. 2. Teacher discusses Section A in class. 3. Ss copy the answers discussed. 4. Homework: correction for directed writing in Section A.
Moral Values	Diligence, discipline, politeness.
Reflections	5K7: Satisfactory feedback. The ss learnt to form a simple sentence from the rubric and for each point given, but with grammatical errors. They needed the teacher's facilitation all the time. 5K1: More than 70% of the ss were able to form the sentences by their own, but the meaning was unclear due to the grammatical mistakes in the sentences. 5S4: Most of the ss could build sentences from the content points given. Some of them were even able to build good sentences based on the short notes given.

Activities	1. Discuss the performance of Paper 2 in general. 2. Give the scheme of marks and answers from Section A to D. 3. The teacher discusses the answers for each section B-D in class. 4. The ss copy the answers.
Moral Values	Diligence, carefulness.
Reflection	Most of the ss were being careless during the exam especially for Section B in the sense that they did not spell words correctly and properly. The techniques were been discussed briefly as a revision for the ss.

Reflection		The ss were able to identify the forms for each tense learnt based on the sentences given. There were only around 10% of the ss knew how to use the simple present and simple past tenses, but not the present perfect tense.
