Topic Sub-topic Objective	Writing Component Cause and Effect Relationship By the end of the lesson, students are able to 1. identify the cause, effect and signal word in a sentence given correctly.
` Activities	1. The teacher recaps the previous topic of defining a concept or an idea by discussing the answers of the students. 2. The presentation of the student on the sub-topic of the day. 3. The teacher comments the presentation. 4. Exercise and discussion.
Reflection	The ss were able to identify the causes and effects for most of the sentences. However, they were confused if a signal word showing a cause or an effect was not arranged together with it but the word is put with its contrasting information i.e. for example, if 'consequence' is put in front of the reason based on the context, the ss would think that the information after the signal word is an effect in that sentence. They were reminded by the teacher to read carefully in order to understand the contextual meaning correctly.

Topic	The novel: The Curse – Revision: synopsis and moral values
Learning Outcomes	3.1 b. recognizing elements in a story such as characters and setting. c. explaining the message the writer is trying to convey and discussing how this relates to one' life.
Behavioural Objectives	1. revise the chapters learnt by describing the story in one own words according to the pictures shown in a chronological order. 2. know the synopsis of the story by responding accordingly to the pictures shown and questions asked. 3. find the textual evidence to support one's answer about the character discussed.
Activities	1.The teacher distributes the handout of notes to the ss. 2. Revise the story in general. 3. Discuss the moral values in the novel. 4. Exercise.
Moral Values	Respects, diligence, family love, independence, perseverance, determination, honesty.

Reflections	5K1: The ss enjoyed the discussion on the synopsis by looking at the attractive illustrations and listening to the teacher's explanation. However, most of them have not finished reading the novel yet. 5K7: The teacher explained the story to the ss by showing the pictures. BM had to b used to enhance their understanding. Besides, they are given an sample answer of the question about moral values too. 5S4: There were only 10% of the ss has finished reading the story. Nevertheless, they were able to give appropriate response during the discussion. More exercises are given as their homework during the holiday.
