2. tell the difference of simple past tense, simple present tense and present perfect tense by identify the verbs and tense used in the sentence heard.

3. change the verbs into a correct tense form based on the context in

the reading text given.

4. speak in English appropriately based on the topic chosen.

2. Revise the previous lesson on sentence building.

3. Revision on the use of tense.

4. Exercise.

Reflection 

The students were unable to finish the exercise on sentence building. It will be discussed further in the next period after they have done it. Most of them were able to identify the different forms of tense. The exercise will be discussed next week.

Reflection 

The students enjoyed the reading process. Some students could finish the reading while more than 50% needed to continue their reading in the next lesson. It depends on their language proficiency and the length of the reading materials chosen.

Reflection 

The students were able to find the meaning of the vocabulary. They could not think of the answers accordingly based on the questions given on the difference between a job and a career. Discussion was carried out to help them answering.

3. The teacher gives the instruction about the quiz.

4. The students do the personality quiz: Handwriting analysis test.

5. Discussion on the test.

6. The teacher discusses with the students on one's interest of work

and the field of career which can suit it.

7. The students copy the notes on personality and the field of career.

8. Writing exercise as homework.

Reflections

5K1: The students were interested with the quiz. They could follow the activity with the detailed explanation of the teacher. On the other hand, they found it boring to copy the notes. It shall be given in another form later.

5S4: The activity consumed more time as planned because the students had the problem to understand the questions. They needed more facilitation from the teacher. More students should be asked to share their findings. However, there were only two students are asked to do so due to the time constraints. The writing exercise will be discussed in the next lesson.

Reflection 

Most of the students were not interested with the test. Most of them were not following the test due to their low proficiency of English. The teacher had to translate the questions into BM to enhance their comprehension.
