Activities1. Revise the previous lesson on the poem, 'Nature'.

3. The selected ss read aloud their answers. Discussion.

ReflectionThe students were able to choose a suitable theme but most of them were unable to explain accordingly. The teacher needed to facilitate throughout the discussion.

ReflectionThere were more than 50% of the students able to explain on the theme chosen. They had the same choice of theme. They could finish the exercise appropriately.

writer) by responding correctly to the questions asked.

2. know the format of an informal letter by writing an informal letter

with a correct format.
Activities1. Introduce the topic: An Informal Letter.

2. Vocabulary: receiver/ recipient and writer.

3. The teacher discusses the format of the letter.

4. The teacher gives the instruction on the writing activity.

5. The students do the exercise.

6. Discuss the answer of the ss on the blackboard.

ReflectionAlmost 80% of the ss were unable to write an informal letter even though the format and sample sentences are shown on the blackboard. Many of them could not express their ideas in English despite the bilingual dictionary provided.

Reflections5K1: The ss were able to accomplish the work. Satisfactory feedback.

5S4: The ss understood the lesson but there were around 30% of the ss

did not complete the exercise in time. They needed drilling

exercise to train their speed.

Playing Your Flute' by discussing the notes given and doing the

exercise given.
Activities 1. The teacher briefs the students with the activities of the day.

2. The teacher plays different melodies played with different

musical instruments.

3. The students match the tunes heard to the pictures of musical

instruments.

4. The ss recite the poem aloud.

5. Discussion on the poet's background.
