Topic Sub-topic Objectives	Writing Component Main Idea(MI), Topic Sentence(TS) and Supporting Detail(SD) By the end of the lesson, students are able to 1. write a suitable thesis statement based on the topic given. 2. know the relationship between MI and TS by writing three correct TS based on the topic given. 3. Support each TS with at least one SD clearly and specifically.
` Activities	1. The teahers comments generally on the performance of Topical Test 4. 2. The teacher gives brief notes on MI, TS, and SD to the ss. 3. Discuss the test given briefly. 4. Homework: Do correction.
Reflection	Overall, there were only one around 50% of the ss could make a correct thesis statement based on the topic given. There were only one out of the nine ss could provide the correct topic sentences and clear supporting details coherently. Others tended to mixed up the TS and SD. The correction will be discussed in the next lesson.

Behavioural Objective	By the end of the lesson, students are able to 1. know the common main ideas for three types of descriptive essays: a person, a place and an event/ incident, respectively by referring to the short notes given.
Activities	1. The teacher explains what a descriptive essay is in general. 2. The ss refer tto the reference book for the types of descriptive essays. 3. The make notes. 4. Homework: Find an interesting place and describe it in 10 sentences.
Moral Values	Diligence, co-operation.
Reflection	Satisfactory feedback as the ss needed notes to help them understand the topic.

Behavioural Objective	By the end of the lesson, students are able to 1. know the meaning of world heritage by pointing out examples of world Heritage one knows. 2. identify the main idea for each subtopic in the text read correctly.
Activities	1. The teacher gives examples of world heritage. 2. Reading activity. 3. Exercise: Looking for main ideas. 4.The teacher defines what main ideas are by giving a sample answer. 5. The teacher facilitates the ss to do the exercise.
Moral Values	Love on nature, appreciation, responsibility.

Activities	1. The teacher gives examples of world heritage. 2. Reading activity. 3. Exercise: Looking for main ideas. 4.The teacher defines what main ideas are by giving a sample answer. 5. The teacher facilitates the ss to do the exercise.
Moral Values	Love on nature, appreciation, responsibility.
Reflection	There were less than 50% of the ss knew what world heritage is. Nevertheless, they could name few examples correctly after the explanation.

` Activities	1. The teacher recaps the previous topic by checking the correction made by the ss in class. 2. The ss write their thesis statement on the blackboard. 3. Discussion on their answers by reading aloud the topic sentences they have done.
Reflection	In general, they can compose a thesis statement accordingly, but around 40% of them needed to improve it by making it more specific instead of general and vague. Topic sentences were clear.

Activities	1. Revise Chapter 1-4. 2. The ss present Chapter 5 in groups. 3. The teacher discusses Chapter 5 in class. 4. Homework: Do the exercise in the workbook.

Reflection	The ss enjoyed the revision due to the interesting picture shown on Chapter 4. The ss participated also in the Q & A session presented by Group 5 actively. The discussion on the exercises will be done in the next lesson.

Reflection	The ss were interested with the picture shown for Chapter 4. They were able to express their opinion accordingly based on the situation given. However, they failed to respond it in Standard English. The teacher helped to translate their thoughts into words.

Reflection	The ss were interested with the revision because it was taught in BM, brief and more attractive with the help of pictures shown. They did not try hard to respond in English. They even nearly refused to copy the answers just because it were long.
