Reflection

Out of the nine students, there were seven of them could recognize the correct way to advise based on the question given. They needed to write in order to master the skills in writing an argumentative essay. Most of them were still poor in providing a clear and strong thesis statement. Some of them misinterpreted the question given. Behavioural Objective 

By the end of the lesson, students are able to

1. categorize things based on the pictures cut from the newspaper into two

categories i.e. biodegradable and non-biodegradable correctly.

Activities 

1. The teacher revises the topic of solid waste: define the meaning of

vocabulary learnt.

2. Discuss the answers of group work.

3. The ss jot down the answers in their exercise book.

4. Homework: Complete the tables given by giving the time taken to

degrade for each type of waste.

Moral Values

Responsibility, love on environment.

Reflection 

The ss were able to categorize things around correctly. However, some of them were confused with paper and cloths. They were asked to find out the explanation on why they are non-biodegradable wastes.

Reflection

The topic of writing paragraph was not clearly presented. More notes and exercise will be given in the next lesson. The topics of writing introduction and conclusion were well presented but more exercises are given as homework to improve the students' writing skills.

Reflection 

Most of the ss were confused with biodegradable and non-biodegradable wastes. The discussion helped them to understand the difference by identifying the things in the pictures and put it into a correct category. Reflection 

The ss could only respond according to the pictures shown. However, it was unclear and uncertain with their answers. They did not revise the novel learnt at all.

1. The ss do a self-assessment quiz on general knowledge about HIV and

ANDS by stating true or false based on the statements given.

2. Discuss the answers in general.

3. The selected ss read aloud the selected paragraphs.

4. The teacher discussed the main ideas of the paragraphs in class.

5. Exercise: Complete the information

6. Discuss the answers.

Moral Values

Responsibility, appreciation on life, determination, be considerate, perseverance.

Reflection 

More than 60% of the ss managed to give correct answers for the statements given. There knew more about HIV and AIDS after reading the text. They were shocked to know the number of death due to AIDS.

Reflection

All of the ss managed to finish the test within the time limit except for two students were rushing with their final sentence at the last minute.

Reflection 

The ss enjoyed the presentation by looking at the pictures shown. They could give correct answers and response based on the questions given. However, there were around 30% of them were still blurred with the plot of the story because they did not read beforehand.
