Learning Outcomes	a. taking part in conversations and discussions. b. discussing plans and arrangements, solving problems, and making decisions.
Behavioural Objectives	1. Know the Form Four syllabus for English. 2. Know the format of the exam paper. 3. Write a simple essay entitled 'Myself'.
Activities	1. Introduce the Form Four English syllabus. 2. Explain the activities planned for English lessons. 3. Discuss the format for exam paper. 4. Homework.
Moral Values	Diligence, responsibility, politeness, co-operation.
Reflection	The students were first exposed to the form four syllabus. They felt difficult for the exam by looking at the exam requirement telling by the teacher. The model paper for paper 1 & 2 will be discussed further in the next lesson.

Learning Outcomes	1.2 a. carrying out a variety of language functions. 3.1 a. understanding and telling in one's own words the story and poem heard and read, and giving one's own opinion of the text.
Behavioural Objectives	1. Express themselves in front of the class in English. 2. Understand the new format for literature component in Paper 2. 3. Respond accordingly based on the poem read.
Activities	1. Class activity – 'Listen To Me'. 2. Discuss Section D in Paper 2. 3. Reciting the poem after the teacher. 4. Discuss the literal and figurative meaning of the poem in general.
Moral Values	Perseverance, be optimistic, diligence, bravery.
Reflection	The students were able to follow the lesson. They needed frequent guidance to carry out most of the discussion.

Activities	1. Discuss the Malaysian customs, cultures and festivals in general. 2. Explain the group work. 3. Group work. 4. Presentation.
Moral Values	politeness, co-operation, respect
Reflection	The students were active in the discussion of small groups. They needed to be more expressive to present their work and overcome the feeling of shyness.

Reflection	The students were able to follow the lesson. In general, they had problems in generating ideas to initiate a conversation.

Reflection	The students needed explanation and exercise for better comprehension of the subject taught.

Activities	1. Discuss the parts of plot. 2. Copy the events for each part of plot in the story learnt. 3. Exercise.
Moral Value	Perseverance
Reflection	Most of the ss were lack of focus during the lesson. So, more ss-centred activities needed to be done in order to attract and maintain their interest.

Activities	1. Discuss the five senses in class. 2. Copy the notes of types of poetry. 3. Compose a haiku together. 4. Recite the haiku composed.
Moral Values	Politeness, co-operation, love on nature.
Reflection	4S4: The ss enjoyed the process of composing the poem. They got the general picture in composing a poem. 4K1: There were only a small amount of ss who were interested in composing a haiku. This class needs specific activities to arouse their interest and maintain their attention.
