3. Write a simple essay entitled 'Myself'.

Activities 

1. Introduce the Form Four English syllabus.

2. Explain the activities planned for English lessons.

3. Discuss the format for exam paper.

4. Homework.

Moral Values

Diligence, responsibility, politeness, co-operation.

Reflection 

The students were first exposed to the form four syllabus. They felt difficult for the exam by looking at the exam requirement telling by the teacher. The model paper for paper 1 & 2 will be discussed further in the next lesson.

2. Discuss Section D in Paper 2.

3. Reciting the poem after the teacher.

4. Discuss the literal and figurative meaning of the poem in general.

Moral Values

Perseverance, be optimistic, diligence, bravery.

Reflection 

The students were able to follow the lesson. They needed frequent guidance to carry out most of the discussion.

Reflection 

The students were active in the discussion of small groups. They needed to be more expressive to present their work and overcome the feeling of shyness.

Most of the ss were lack of focus during the lesson. So, more ss-centred activities needed to be done in order to attract and maintain their interest.

Reflection 

4S4: The ss enjoyed the process of composing the poem. They got

the general picture in composing a poem.

4K1: There were only a small amount of ss who were interested in

composing a haiku. This class needs specific activities to

arouse their interest and maintain their attention.
